Google enter the phone market, just not yet in Sweden
I've come very close to getting myself an iPhone but I've never committed when it came to committing and I put that down to my relationship with Apple. You see, it costs a lot less to buy an Apple in England than it does in Sweden.
The thing is, I don't like paying more for something, especially when nobody will explain the reason why and now, because a lot of what I am doing is in the cloud, I don't really need the big machine, even if it does look nice.
But today, Google have announced the release of their new phone, the Nexus One, manufactured by HTC by the looks of things and on the face of things, it has everything the iPhone has and to boot, it has the Android operating system.
The added bonus for me is the 5MP camera because that was mostly the reason for wanting a new phone (see rubbish photos on the mobile blog page) and with the iPhone only having a 3MP camera, I think I can confidently say that the iPhone is now not in contention.
The thing is, it isn't yet in Sweden - hopefully soon.
