At midnight our internet access provided by Alltele stopped working and about six minutes later the new service from Bygdsiljum First kicked in. It would have taken longer but I wanted to test the speed so I rebooted the router.

The service is also not getting delivered by Bygdsiljum First, but T3 (for data) and Skelleftea Kraft (for cable) - but I think you know what I mean. The service is called Bygdsiljum First powered by T3.

But, to the speed test. You might not remember but back in September on the first day we got the service with Alltele - I did a speed test and got this and I was more than happy with it.

But this morning, with the same service and connecting to the same server I got this result and I am now even happier.

For those that have not clicked the links, with Alltele I could download from a server in Finland - the closest one to me here at 34.57 Mb/s and my upload speed was 4.35 Mb/s. With Bygdsiljum First powered by T3 - I got a download speed of 95.36 Mb/s (over double and nearly three times as fast) and an upload speed of 6.66 Mb/s.

So, the results are in - I've made my decision.
